Fun way to color Easter Eggs with your kids

So this past weekend was Easter as you all already knew that. We tried something new for dying eggs and it was so much fun I had to share it with you all.

Here is what you will need - shaving cream, gel food coloring and a pan or separate dishes for each color
Once you put the shaving cream in the pan have your kids help out so they can enjoy squishing the shaving cream around...I mean really what kid doesn't like to do this? I know my daughter had a blast. Add the food coloring and swirl it around with a butter knife. I suggest adding more food coloring then I did because it'll show on your eggs better then it did on the ones we did. I also suggest using different bowls for each color as well.
After the colors are mixed in with the shaving cream let your kids roll the eggs in the shaving cream
Even my husband and I joined in on the fun
After the eggs are done we set them on a plate and let them sit for 10 minutes
This was what the eggs looked like after we washed off the colored shaving cream and they weren't very bright so if we do this again I think i'll add more gel food coloring to the shaving cream but either way it was so much fun and my 4 year old had a blast so really that's all that matters. :)
Hope everyone had a fabulous Easter!

Product Review for Bella Noella

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeanie through Facebook and I'm so glad that we met. She is the owner of Bella Noella located in Rockford, Michigan. She makes handmade items that are created with care and great quality.
She created my daughters Halloween costume (pictured below) along a ton of other items. The Halloween Costume has to be the best that I've ever gotten for my daughter. The costumes you find at your local store have nothing on her. The Halloween costumes i've gotten my daughter in the past have gotten torn or ripped due to lack of material or are just not made well but the one's she makes are great and I see my daughter using it for dress up for a long, long time.
She also made some beautiful hats for me to use in photo sessions (pictured below). These hats are truly adorable and made to last a long time. The yarn is so soft and it stretches a little so it can fit different sized babies/children.
She makes a lot of other items as well and does many costume orders so if you have anything in mind that you want done, I suggest getting a hold of her.
Jeanie is so sweet and great to work with and I can't wait to work with her again in the future. Here is a link to her facebook if you'd like to check out other items she's done or if you'd like to get ahold of her to make something special for yourself. https://www.facebook.com/bellanoellacrafts?ref=ts&fref=ts
Here are some photos of her products in use. Enjoy!

Crystabelle Baby - Review

At the time when I got these items it was the first time I have worked with another business and I was so excited when I talked to Crystabelle Baby. She sent a bunch of beautiful and I mean beautiful headbands in a cute little white box with a ribbon bow. When I opened the box I saw these gorgeous hand made headbands and an adorable little crown. I couldn't wait to use them for photo sessions.

They have been wedding jewelry specialists for over 10 years and have recently started to branch out and make these headbands for little kids and also Bump Sashes to emphasize the already beautiful baby bumps.

I asked her to tell me a little about her business and in part of her response she said "we are using our skills and experience, and of course the beautiful Swarovski crystal and a pearl to create miniature pieces of beauty"  I couldn't agree more with her, they are definitely making miniature pieces of beauty.
Here is there facebook page so you can go and check out what they have to offer.
Now here are some photos taken by me using her beautiful headbands and crown (crown is usually for babies but my daughter wanted to model it for me)

Photography was done by me and you can find me at https://www.facebook.com/KLphotopage

Riverside Park

Went with my husband and our daughter to Riverside park to start off our Labor Day weekend! We had so much fun! We fed some bread to the ducks, geese, a goose and segal. We had a big variety of animals that were hungry. Also there was this squirrel that was all about posing and getting in on some photos :) here are some pictures I took from our time there. It was so nice to just get out and enjoy the beautiful weather at the park with my family.
